When I say the word "therapy" what comes to mind? Answers to this question are as diverse as the clients to whom I have queried this over the years. But, most of the stuff folks say doesn't at all resemble anything that actually goes on in my office. I won't ask you to lie down on the couch (unless, of course, you'd like to). I won't sit quietly judging you without offering feedback. I definitely won't show you little pictures and ask you what you see.
